How it all started
Covered In Majesty was founded in 2014 in Rochester, NY by Clenita Thomas. With no prior sewing experience, God inspired Clenita with the vision to create lap scarves and accessories with the modesty theme.
The idea came from an amazing woman at church who had on a lap scarf but it didn’t complement the stunning outfit she had on.
Traditionally lap scarves are worn in church and often reflect a classic conventional style until now…Our brand redefines lap scarves and brings a modern twist to these cherished accessories.
Our mission is to redefine modesty by crafting timeless, elegant clothing accessories that empowers individuals to express their unique style with sophistication. We are committed to blending luxury with modest fashion offering designs that embrace beauty, confidence, and individuality.

Covered In Majesty has expanded its brand to neck enhancements for women with its collections of Florence Elegance Embellishments and our Jabot neck cascade lines. We also offer a men’s accent neck line called Valored Mantle (Coming soon).
